The splashy Ryan Murphy drama Hollywood is getting a dose of soap opera via One Life to Live alum Laura Harrier (ex-Destiny Evans), who plays the role of Camille opposite stars like Dylan McDermott and Jim Parsons.

Former One Life to Live star Laura Harrier (ex-Destiny Evans) has come a long way since Llanview. The actress is one of the faces featured in the star-filled Ryan Murphy Netflix drama Hollywood.

Set to make its debut on Friday, May 1, the splashy period drama follows a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Los Angeles as they try to make it big. The seven-episode series tackles the usual historical drama topics like racism, predatory power figures, and secret romances -- but with entertaining twists like gas station attendants who offer their customers extra "services."

As can be seen in the teaser trailer below, Harrier stars opposite Broadway stars Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope, and Patti LuPone, as well as David Corenswet, Samara Weaving, Dylan McDermott, Holland Taylor, Jim Parsons, Jake Picking, Joe Mantello, and Maude Apatow.

Hollywood was written by Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan, and Janet Mock. All three will executive produce along with Alexis Martin Woodall.

Harrier played the part of Destiny in One Life to Live's 2013 online reboot before going on to star in the Anna Kendrick musical The Last Five Years, the indie comedy 4th Man Out, and the blockbuster film Spider-Man: Homecoming.
